During times like these, it pays to be an investor rather than a trader. We may be in a bear market, but it should not matter for an investor in intel. Some companies will fall and never come back. INTEL will fall and come back with a vengeance! I think it's holding up well here, considering.... One can lose a fortune trying to trade this market or a great company like intel. Assuming the worst here, if the deflationary scenario hits the U.S. and recession comes, there will be plenty of bargains out there for giants like intel to acquire. Intel's stock should at least double in 5 years. Are there better long term investments around? I think not. This pre-occupation with the daily and weekly price fluctuations of intel is the result of the most wildly speculative bull market in history. The present Bear Market is going to flush out this speculation and restore some sanity to investing. I have owned this stock for 5 years and continue to buy on major dips of 20%.
