Time will tell. Ultimately the power will be in the millions and millions in the economic subclass who are most subject to religious radicalization. When you get away from the business areas of Cairo you will see animals grazing in the garbage in the streets. There are two classes of people in Egypt.

This one will play out for all to see. I suspect it will come down to the Muslim clergy. I would not want to be a Coptic Christian living in Egypt.

Of note - one of the most talked about causes of these revolts is food inflation. How much of this caused by QE2 and biofuels would be interesting to know. There is also the issue of the Russian crop failures this summer due to no rain.
