Tom W-

I think you hit the nail on the head. AMD is a fine company (no I'm not kidding) I really mean it, and they have fine employees who have undoubtedly worked very very hard to make AMD a success. They just have a terrible CEO who has put his ego above AMD shareholders. AMD's hardworking people deserve some success for their efforts but they aren't ever going to get it as long as Jerry is at the helm. The over agressive design and process decisions they make when defining the K6 are finally coming home to haunt them. Management simply used extremely poor judgement. The K6 was just a little beyond what AMD was capable of. It was the need to challenge Intel at all costs that drove their decisions, NOT SHAREHOLDER VALUE. This is the issue that shareholders should be confronting. Jerry does not have your interests in mind. Jerry has Jerrys interests in mind and that is to fight Intel down to YOUR last penney. Grab your ankles and hold on, the bad news isn't over yet.....
