Thanks for alerting us to the news, Stan. Here is the full text of the press release for discussion purposes. Please look at the official date of termination. Doesn't it make Centura's press releases regarding ForeSite, which were issued a week later, false advertising by Centura ?...

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 12, 1997--InfoSpinner, the developer and owner of ForeSite(TM), a Web-to-legacy software product, today announced that its ForeSite distribution agreement with Centura Software Corporation (Nasdaq:CNTR), has been terminated due to non-performance by Centura under the distribution agreement.

Centura's right to distribute InfoSpinner's ForeSite products, either directly to end-users or via subdistributors, domestically and internationally, ceased as of Oct. 22, 1997, the effective date of the termination.

Efforts to negotiate a post-termination transition plan proved unsuccessful and were abandoned yesterday by InfoSpinner. "The dissolution of InfoSpinner's relationship with Centura, which started in January 1997, is truly unfortunate," said Yoshi Noguchi, president and CEO of InfoSpinner. "We must, however, move on. Our immediate goal is to ensure that ForeSite customers and partners are not negatively impacted by the severance of the relationship between the two companies."

InfoSpinner will continue to aggressively market its ForeSite products, both directly and through partners. InfoSpinner was recently selected as one of Computerworld's "100 Hot Emerging Companies" for 1997.
