just remember that announcements are just that. sort of like vaporware, the preemptive strike, keep the stockholders (insiders) happy, etc.. it is illegal for the company to say anymore until the actual release date is decided on and prospectii have been sent out.

any decent stat book could show you how to build the 2 basic index formulas: las-pres, pache. each has strengths and weaknesses. (so my spelling is not so good.) just don't forget the tyrany of maintenance once you start one of these indexes.
