RSH - Radio Shack. I sort of like as a customer for some things.

Example 1: Broken TV. I did a google search and found that culprit most likely would be a bad Electrolyte capacitors. I went to shack and got 4x1000uF capaitors for about 6$. Since my son went with me we ended up buyin a discounted toy for 10$ a well. I was able to fix the broken TV the same day.

Example 2: Smartphone purchase. I decided to jomp on the Optimus V deal with Virginmobile. This is an decent Android for 150$ that works well with the prepaid 25$ plan (300min, unlimited text and data). The phones sell well and other locations were running low on inventory. I checked online RSH inventory checker, which indicated that a RSH store around the corner from work would have it in stock. Picked up a 10$ coupon from the net, went there and a very nice clerk set me up with the phone, sold me an Airtime card (25$ for the first month, so I was ready to go after 15min. This was a very good customer experience.

FWIW, the RSH stores are franchised - not all of them are the same. I don't like the one close to where I live but the one close to work is great. the have a niche running in neighborhood store, with crosselling opportunities with the folks dropping in.
