Medical Mobile power systems and control for medication carts, computer carts and medical instruments. In 2006, JBI reduced component parts from 7 to 1 in a leading medication dispensing cart. Costs were reduced to over the original cost of electronics with substantial increase in product reliability. JBI also has developed mobile power systems that can be used to power medical appliances (see Battery Development). Our electronics designs meet strict UL 60601 standards.
Security Our technologies can be utilized in security products for consumer, corporate and national security. In 2003, John Bordynuik developed a keyfob radiation detector and was subsequently manufactured in volume. The radiation detector IP was successfully licenced and manufactured in 2004. By May 2006, the market was successfully super-saturated with product.
Vehicle Systems JBI staff has designed vehicle access systems for high-risk leasing companies. The technology is manufactured at 1/5th the cost of comparable units.
Highly Intuitive User Interface JBI utilizes touch screens and LCD displays in customer designs. Our graphics and user-GUI designs are by far the best in the industry. Our highly intuitive interface is mirrored in our client side (Windows-based) applications. These features add value to our customers products.
Consumer Goods JBI's product optimization technology reduces costs of consumer products, enables easy-upgrades to keep them competitive, and provides a high-intuitive interface for end-users. We work with our clients from VC through final production. As we have an interest in ensuring your product remains competitive, we continue to incorporate new technologies and value-added options to keep it a market leader.
Custom Electronic Components JBI has developed custom LCD displays for client products and has an excellent partner in China to produce them in volume.
UL Approvals JBI utilizes a private lab to quickly acquire all necessary approvals you need prior to product sales. This process is completed in a fraction of the time it would take through the usual approval process.

Battery Development Group JBI has designed a highly efficient and small mobile power system for use in medical, nuclear and commercial applications. Our mobile power group will give any company an advantage over its competitor as we optimize and customize the battery, the charger and the power inverter specifically to the narrow specifications of the application. Many companies now use generic SLA batteries, general purpose chargers and inverters. This is highly inefficient and reduces run time, battery life, and performance, at a higher cost.
Our battery development group includes a series of engineers who have successfully married custom sealed lead acid batteries with super capacitors. John Bordynuik designed the core CPU to intelligently control the charger and inverter and use this information to accurately provide the end user with meaningful information such as battery state. John Bordynuik also designed a very small charger/inverter with a built-in isolation transformer.

Battery Development JBI's battery development group optimizes existing SLA batteries for high-performance electronics products. We replace electrode stacks in general-purpose SLA batteries with stacks specifically tuned for your application. Couple this technology with our TrueTime Cell StateTM indicators and control electronics for the ultimate runtime.
Mobile-enabling Technology JBI has an extensive array of chargers, inverters, monitors, and TrueTimeTM battery state indicators. Our mobile power systems exceed the competition when coupled with our internally optimized SLA batteries. Our technology can be used in carts, portable instruments, and large mobile systems.
Simplification All too often problems are solved with multiple boards and modules utilizing multiple CPU's and complex analog electronics. Products often consume 10,000x the energy to process and analog signal in a digital format in the place of simple electronics that perform the same task. JBI implements digital electronics where they should be used for optimal power utilization and reduced costs.
