Yes, many companies have great earnings. Some have had expectations that were too great, but for the greater part they have beaten expectations. Cemex is a company I bought in 2004 and sold in 2008 (thank God). I believe after acquisitions they were to be the largest cement supplier in the world. I wonder what happened to it? Maybe it never caught up after the crash? I will have to see if it is a buy now. finance.yahoo.com
