The Euro's strength, the apparent agreement by Germany with Spain's reforms all seem to suggest that the crisis atmosphere in the EZ is easing.

From the German standpoint, it is all about saving its banks from the disastrous loans they made in the EZ periphery.

The Irish may toss out any agreements they have made after elections in mid February. If so, back to square one.

Food riots in the ME and Irish intransigence, a perfect global storm.
