Wife has a young mini horse and they tend not to drink enough water in winter. Wife went out with a tupperware bowl fulla hot water for the horse who didn't want it hot. So wife scoops snow with her bare hands to cool the water off. 10" of snow equals 10" of cold but 1" of water. The cold part going to her hands. You can lead a horse to water ... but if you chase them around the pasture in knee deep snow they still won't drink. Wife has a college degree. I was in my recliner watching a good program and glancing out the window at this with a libation in hand. I don't have a college degree.
