Interesting article on how railroads may play a part in shale oil transportation: reuters.com Looking at these transport companies, they seem to be either privately held, or else the stocks of the public companies are close to new 12-mo highs - which discourages me from considering them now as buys. I have recently added though small amounts to small positions I have in the large e&p's -- for example HES and EOG mentioned in the article.
