Jefferson very possibly raped ONE of his slaves. Even if it was consensual sex, the fact that she was a slave qualifies it as rape, IMO.

Christians were the ones who fought to preserve slavery to their dying breath. It caused the bloodiest civil war the human race has ever known. Finally, the bloodshed was over and the Christian South surrendered and slavery was ended.
Even though Christians considered slavery to be justified by the bible and tried to create a separate country where slavery could flourish, other Christians, in fact, joined with atheists and humanists to fight for human rights and freedoms--and thereby was the Union preserved.
And on to matters of interest to you, with your keen interest and faith in ghosts. Nobody knows how many ghosts were created in the civil war. I know most of them have visited you at one time or another because you are very special and have that special gift of faith which allows you to see spirits (when they want you to see them). You should try using a tape recorder, though, because your complaint that they refuse to talk to you could merely be a mistaken idea of their peculiar vocal range. The decibels might be spiritual, as well, so a tape recorder should pick them up. It has worked for other crazy people. Good luck! |
