With less than two weeks before the Mobile World Congress 2011 event kicks off in Barcelona, Spain, upcoming tablets and smartphones are popping up across the blogosphere, hinting their possible debut at the event.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 & LG Optimus Pad attending MWC 2011
On the tablet front, two manufacturers can be confirmed to be unveiling their dual-core Android tablets at the show, Samsung and LG.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will be unveiled at a press event a day ahead of MWC 2011. Nothing much is known about the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab but it is expected to pack a dual-core processor (possibly a Hummingbird processor like the Samsung Galaxy S line), a Super AMOLED display and run the Android OS (Honeycomb is yet to be confirmed)

LG Optimus Pad
Named the T-Mobile G-Slate here in the US, the LG Optimus Pad is expected to be the second Android Honeycomb tablet to launch (after the Motorola Xoom). The LG Optimus Pad comes equipped with an 8.9-inch 3D display three cameras (two in the rear to capture 3D video and photos) and Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processors.
