This is what he said:

"Gore points out the increase in wildfires, the melting glaciers and gradual drying up of all continents as undeniable proof of global warming. The number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes has doubled in the last 30 years and global sea levels could rise 20 feet by the end of the century, creating tens of millions of refugees, according to his documentary."

What is wrong with you, Ten? Your brain doesn't function on most days? He is talking about weather extremes and of course, he is talking about hurricanes because it was 2006, a year after 8 hurricanes had hit FLA in one year. He's talking hurricanes in an effort to bring the point home to idiot skeptics like yourself.

I first started reading about global warming in the '90s. No one could be absolutely certain of all the ramifications that might result from global warming but one of the key expectations was that Europe would become much colder with increased snowfalls and might even experience a minor ice age. It was never expected that just hurricanes would become more powerful or potent but rather that all weather would become much less benevolent.

In the meantime, island nations are sinking as the rising waters take them under. Venice gets flooded more and more each year from the rising seas. We have seen more and more powerful hurricanes throughout the globe. Last week, AU had its first major cyclone in centuries. And we here in the US and in Europe are seeing more and more powerful snow storms. Chicago got 20 inches of snow in last week's storm.........one of the 5 largest in its history. It normally only averages 38" in an entire season. They are declaring the winter on the eastern seaboard to be the worst in its collective history.

So then, this question begs to be asked.......what does it take to get a point across to you all.........a slap upside the head.....or a kick in the ass? Is that how you all were raised? Because frankly, you all are acting like 8 year olds on this and other issues.......and its getting very, very old.
