Whether Palin runs or not, there is no doubt about the truth of the following from that list:

Now that she’s saved the GOP from irrelevance, they’ve got work to do screwing the party up again.

John McCain's comments about the "centrist" Obama is just one example of the GOP's susceptibility to screwing up the advantage gleaned from the November elections.

The Democrats rely on the Republicans' unique ability to fumble. They are willing to say and do anything. Republicans like RINO McCain lack the backbone to do what is necessary to reclaim the country from the grip of the radicals who are poised to destroy it, whether or not that is their conscious intent.

Republicans and conservatives need to learn how to frame the debate and capture the imagination of the public. It is critical that they do not allow the Democrats and radical lefties to define them. Too much time is invested by politicians who want to be loved. Again, McCain is courting the media and looking for love in all the wrong places. People who cannot learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
