Obviously not trying to go for market share with pricing like that. Makes sense to try to fleece the early adopters while they have first mover advantage Makes no sense to me at all, given they do not have the first mover advantage - the iPad does, by over a year, and it's about to be upgraded to iPad 2, maybe as early as next week. At $800 - plus at least a month worth of data plan or it's a dead doorstop - this untried hardware and software, Johnny come lately copy slab is priced exactly where the most expensive, tried and true, original iPad is. Suicidal! Gonna drive a lot of prospective tablet shoppers to Apple.
