The Softs Review For the week of February 7th, 2011 We are going to have a look at the Soft Review by Pitguru Jurgens H. Bauer for this week. Just note down the news and plan your trading! I spent the weekend traveling, then returned late to watch the end of the game, so please excuse this brief report. Sugar held well and likely will make efforts to break out of its range between 3450 and 3030. Cocoa failed hard and now is apt to continue seeking solid support. CCH is already below 3200 and could test 3165-3150. A close below there will likely turn back below 3100. Cotton reacted negatively since the rule changes were announced. While never surprising to see strength following a weekend, the highs will be formidable and any move below 165 potentially signals lower values. Coffee still bullish, but untrustworthy in my opinion. Option expiration on Thursday may bring some fireworks. pitguru.com
