system-on-a-chip company for consumer electronic applications, announced today
that over 20 companies will display their support for the Company's L64020
Logic Decoders at Fall Comdex '97 (Las Vegas). Manufacturers of personal
computers and software, as well as graphics and audio hardware will show their
support for the L64020 through demos, signage, and the distribution of product
information.

The LSI Logic Family of Scenario Reference Designs
Many of these companies will have demos based on Scenario reference
designs, which offer complete solutions to OEMs and add-in card suppliers for
DVD PC products. The Scenario suite of reference designs support
industry-standard interfaces to easily integrate DVD capabilities into PCs and
includes the industry's first DVD PC solutions based on PCMCIA (the PC Card
interface for notebook computers) and VIP (the advanced video port interface
specified in PC 98). Additional interface solutions include PCI, VMI, and ISA.
These options allow the Scenario family to address all segments of the PC
