Please don't take it personally. We just differ in our opinions. I simply believe the article raised enough doubt about the quality of the SparQ to cause potential customers to be cautious. Syquest doesn't need this type of press at all. It also indicates to me that future reviews might also reinforce some of the problems with the product as it stands today. Granted, Syquest will probably quickly resolve these issues, however as someone pointed out on another thread, the company made a serious mistake in providing models for reviewers to review that had flaws. Sometimes you only get one chance at a review.

One additional potential threat is the Orb. It is likely that the SparQ and Orb will be compared in the press. If the Orb has better quality and is also a better buy, new customers could easily be swayed to Castlewood.
