I don't think the stock price is the relevant measure. Looking at market caps, $43B for Bidu v $198B for GOOG, makes me wonder. The Chinese economy is $6 trillion while the US is $14.7 trillion. But Google isn't confined to the US. It also dominates search in Western Europe and I think Japan.
