whoops, you said LG....and I was thinking 4G LG - they have hinted that discussions are/have/will take place. I think LG would like to get the same deal they got before so for 4G nothing to hang a hat on in a conference call they stated that 4G provides a "nudge" to the 3G rate they signed Pantech to 7 year fixed fee deal ($121M) that includes 4G, but still leaves questions the Acer deal last week included 4G, but there has been no clarity around the license or terms yet here is a paper they came out with....but no rate disclosed interdigital.com I think it's all kind of strange for a company that, according to the press, is one of the leaders in 4G patenting. I just can't see how this industry, with so much invested in 4G ex-ante....would or could allow a big time bomb to tick. Maybe a little bomb ex post, but not a big one.
