Has anyone read the recent Albert Edwards (SocGen macro strategist) notes? I'm not one for timing the market, but I do have a hard time finding decent value opportunities; his notes suggest that with Schiller PE and other metrics way above average, that something is still wrong with the markets. Anyone else get that sense that, really, the markets are in cloud cuckoo land? I was surprised today to turn on CNBC (following a self-imposed 6-month moritorium) and find people again touting stocks that, having reached new highs, were a good investment opportunity. Typical of the short-term mentality.
