It is probably a pointless discussion, so we can drop it if you like. Otherwise I guess you would need to be specific. I don't know what you are talking about when you say it can't "interface" with old windows software. Perhaps you mean "communicate", or maybe you are referring to data file incompatibility or perhaps on a hardware level.

It is all pretty funny when you consider that Appl takes a cut of ANY DEVICE that can plug into the bottom of an iPhone or pod or pad. Great for me as a shareholder, but certainly not as a consumer.

Let me know when MSFT starts charging a royalty for plugging a device into a USB port!
