Pic for Samsung Galaxy S2 + hardware specs leaked

Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry, starts tomorrow and yesterday we got our hands on the specs for some successors to popular Android phones before their official announcements. There were no pictures, however, but now a South Korean news site called Paran has published a high resolution press shot of the Samsung Galaxy S2, and the specs are revealed as well. I personally think the S2 looks slick as heck – this is one handsome Android.

These are the specs that were stated in Paran’s Galaxy S2 article: Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+, Bluetooth 3.0, and 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi.

According to Paran, the weight of the Galaxy S2 is just 116g (4.09 ounces) and it’s very slim: no more than 8.49mm. That should just about make it the thinnest smartphone ever made. We’ll know a lot more about Samsung’s follow-up to the Galaxy S after the company’s keynote at MWC tomorrow.
