Here are the answers to the questions you posed a few weeks ago regarding the B. Braun deal. I hope this is helpful.

1. GZTC will receive $13M from B. Braun Melsungen upon achieving milestones in the development of the unspecified recombinant human protein.

2. GZTC will conduct pilot and phase I/II studies; both parties share responsibility for Phase III/pivotal studies.

3. GZTC cannot disclose the terms of the agreement beyond stating that GZTC retains "certain" marketing rights in North America.

4. This deal with Braun is paticularly important to GZTC because it is GZTC's first development deal in its "TransGenerics" program. These pharmaceuticals are currently marketed but costly, due to costs associated with bacterial or cell-culture based production methods.

The above includes forward-looking statements. Actual results may differ materially based on GZTC's ability to conduct successful clinical trials and meet other milestone requirements and on decisions made by the FDA.

P.S.: I am in the process of transitioning responsibility for the GZTC IR/PR program to GZTC. As a result, I will no longer be able to answer questions here about matters that deal exclusively with GZTC. I will, however, be able to answer questions that involve GENZ, such as GZTC's impact on the GENZ income statement and the progress of the joint venture on AT III. I some cases, it may be more appropriate for such questions to be posted in the GENZ thread.
