Yeah, this is an absurdly condescending sort of remark. Unfortunately, it is borne of ignorance.

You may convince yourself, but you'll never convince anyone else, that AAPL doesn't concern itself with the market share Droid is sucking away from it. They've been here before. I assure they haven't forgotten what it is like to have a great product no one will write software for. They don't want to go back there.
