The point is, "Why did the iPhone not take more from Sybian (or wherever) while droids were getting to a 53% market share?"

Well first droids are a piece of free code, used by a whole bunch of manufacturers. You introduce a couple of dozen phones, v one iPhone, you will probably sell some units by default. You sell cheaper, you will sell some units.

You think Apple should license iOS? And blow up the 50% of profit share?
