Just to be perfectly clear, Doreen, you are posting to a person who cannot reply. This seems rather strange. You see the only rational Apple long who had not already been banned for speaking the truth on this board, has now been banned from it.
In the three or so times that Cogito has implicitly threatened to ban me, I simply did not reply. Nor have I replied to the frequent and ludicrous taunting and insults and high-school style cliquish "liking" of the most unintelligent rebuttal to anything bearish I (or i-node) might post.
i-node, whose contributions to this thread have contained a vast knowledge of basic facts starkly missing from the general discourse here, and who was, repeatedly attacked with replies unbefitting his posts, will sorely be missed. For he cared to much, and erroneously thought that intelligent replies would benefit raving Apple devotees, something I had always realized was the picture of futility.
I feel fortunate that I can at least say something kind on his behalf before I myself obtain that honorific permaban in the sky myself. For even though I fear for his financial health as a long in a tulipmania valued at more than a third the GDP of South Korea, I get the feeling i-node is not the type who would go down with the ship the way many others here are pre-destined to.
Yes, i-node, you will be missed. You were one of a kind. You were a somewhat rational Apple shareholder. You now join the ranks of the voiceless masses who seem to like to frequently PM me that they now can only live vicariously through my personal enjoyment at the ease of which one may troll those in the distortion field with the most basic iotas of obvious truth. |
