China is the world's second largest economy

[I bought a Chinese manufactured metal working vice in the early 90's when China was still manufacturing steam trains that burned coal. It was of a sub standard quality, a poor imitation of a popular U.S.A model but it's size and weight made up for poor workmanship and it lasted many years.

I was concerned when many semiconductor firms started selling their old used equipment to the Chinese about that time, it sounded like a repeat performance of the UK ship building industry during the 60's. It was indeed just that.

These days most of the products in my home are made in China and the quality of workmanship is superb. They have learned it all.

It is time for the west to learn something new imho]
