Acting Man update:
Good-bye Mubarak, Hello Debt Crisis.
The self-anointed 'Daddy of all Egyptians' disappears into the sunset in Sharm El-Sheikh, leaving the military to take over the apparatus of the State. As some enterprising journalists have found out, what Mubarak and his clan 'earned' in the course of his career amounts pretty much exactly to the total aid the US has given to Egypt since it became a client state. Relief! US tax payers didn't finance a brutal regime of torture and terror after all...they only financed Mubarak's personal piggy bank!

Meanwhile, In Europe (out of sight, out of mind....perhaps not much longer) Portuguese bond yields hit fresh all time highs and the debt crisis consequently continues to simmer. The effort by the 'tax harmonizers' to press all of the EU into the same 'harmonized' and tyrannical high tax/high regulation scheme founders for now, but they will certainly keep trying. It's the worst thing that could happen to the already heavily burdened citizens of the EU - since they would no longer be able to vote on tax policy with their feet.
