OT: That's pretty more the core of it, pun fully intended. The problem exists when personal and insulting remarks are allowed to continue. It's easy enough to ban or ignore others but if they're allowed to continue ... well, they continue. I'll always fight and champion the free sharing of objective information and the discussion that comes from it. I've always thrived on that as a means to increase knowledge and understand what's in motion. But I also vehemently and passionately resist those that take away from that objective discussion, insult and eliminate value. I know when I get to that point myself, my posts are fully intended to be insulting, in kind. The only difference is, I won't dwell on it and won't waste my time on the individual for long. It ultimately has no value other than to call attention to it in hopes of getting action. The individual will never change ... seen it far too often. Information, both good and bad, needs to be shared. But delivery of that information and the purpose behind it is key to that exchange.
