have you never signed a restaurant check for you and yours, using a client as the reason for going to that upscale eatery?

No.

Have you ever made a purchase, knowing that the company, shouldn't have paid for it, but you knew that you could (in a stretch) justify the cost?

No.

Have you ever furnished your office with art, knowing that it would wind up in your home later on?

No. My problem is getting rid of office art. We sell it on Ebay.

Have you ever bought a more expensive car, knowing that the Chevy would get you there just as well?

Yes, I have. A perfectly legal business expense, used by small and large businesses alike.

And the list goes on and on and on.

What list? Your list of illegal activities that most small businesses don't engage in? Or your list of legal activities that both small and large businesses engage in?
