I strongly agree, GZ. Many could and should be put to work building more jails, prisons, and execution centers across the nation.

For the less-skilled welfare recipients, they should be deployed daily to the neighborhoods of taxpayers to mow the lawns, sweep the streets, pull weeds, wash cars, and collect trash as part of a Work-for-Welfare program. A good, honest day's work is good for the soul and builds character. It beats sitting at home, watching Oprah, and woofing down bags of Big Macs, and 12-packs of Schlitz Malt Liquor while waiting for the mailman to arrive with this week's welfare check. -ng-
