Sorry for the long post, however, I think a lot of these releases have been lost in the general market turmoil, and warrant repeating. This is clearly a case of stepping back from the trees and looking at the forest.
Either I'm an idiot or these releases represent a company that is consistently introducing leading-edge best of class products at a very fast pace. Is establishing strategic alliances with the biggest names in the industry (MSFT, LU, UUNET / WCOM / MCI???, NTT). And... iscontinuing to hold a leadership position in its key markets remote access, frame relay, and is gaining marketshare in ATM.
Conversely, Ascend is not going down the tubes, losing its ass to CSCO, crumbling in the Asian markets and all the other crap that some on this thread profess. I'll take my chances with a "loser" like ASND all day long.
