There was NO war declared in the Egyptian protest. It was mostly a peaceful, and HUGE, protest against their government. Until the thugs came in, the Egyptians were peaceful.

No, Reporters should NOT have to expect to be shot or killed, nor raped or otherwise brutalized. Certainly never in a civic and civil protest.
