"Have you ever furnished your office with art, knowing that it would wind up in your home later on?"

if I bought art on my company dime in my state it would go on my company assets. In my state I have to pay corp 'personal property tax on all corp. assets. so even if I got a 20-35% tax right off (when I bought it) I would have to pay 'personal' corp tax on (each year)that art work for the rest of my life( and corp life) , based on the value of that asset ( even if the art piece went up in value). so for a 5000 piece of art I could end up paying ..what 10-20,000 for it ? why would anyone do that
