Tim,

I'll not defend your distaste in GM burning it's stockholders and bond holders.Arrogance run amuck.

I think you have confused the horrific error GMAC made by going into subprime real estate at the exact peak of poor underwriting standards.

The car company has reduced the franchises and models to the point where all new models have been well received.Inventory turns are such that it no longer is a production push scenario.

The volt is a halo car that HAS LEADERSHIP in technology in a dynamic growth area - green cars.

To buy a car that can be refueled by electricity at $1.80 a gallon rate is a nice plus.A plus that pays one back over a long time.

IF and when oil ever does spike again - do not worry about the resale of VOLTS - they will spike. This same phenom has been true with Toyota's Prius.

I do not know why you are so bitter against GM,but the plain fact is their product line up has been tuned to be very appealing to the buying public.

That unusual change from past business practices is resulting in a very profitable company.

They got bailed out by the government when their product could no longer be floorplanned due to a lack of credit availability - not to mention finance the sale of the product to the public.

THAT was NOT their doing.

Times have changed and GM is doing very well.

GET OVER IT !!
