FWIW, starting from the day the SPX stopped going down in late August, today is day 123. 89 plus 34. So 21 more days to 144 after today. Might be something, might not. Today is also day 17 of the 17 day cycle that I track for some reason. The theory on this cycle: using today's trading range, the next close outside this range, that is the direction for awhile. If it doesn't work, then the SPX at least trades around this range for awhile. Probably just silly, but I keep track of it.
