Do you wish there was an Android Robot designed to look like you? Time to get crackin’- Google just announced an Android App called Androidify which lets you customize the look of the typical robot to make it look like you, or however you want. Check it out:

HANDS ON VIDEO: youtube.com

Call it an avatar, droidatar, avadroid, Dii (instead of Mii) or whatever you want. Pretty cool. Not exactly useful, but pretty cool. Here is what Google had to say about it on the YouTube description:

Androidify, available free from Android Market, lets you take the little green Android, and turn it into yourself, your friends, your family, anyone! Stretch it , shrink it, add a hoody, style its hair, throw on some shades, or even give it a parrot and a pirate hat. Arrrgh!

Once you’ve made your personalized Android, you can share it with your friends, set it as a photo in your contact book, or use it in some inventive way we haven’t thought of yet. Have fun, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

The app is on Android Market now, so go ahead and download it, then paste us a link to your own Androidified self when you’re done!
