Intel Trader - Re: "they had a 300 MHZ Pentium running a DVD demo with 32MB RAM. Looked just like regular television on the monitor -- beautiful. " Intel's stated goal (and they have been trying to do this for the past 4 years) is to provide enough CPU horsepower to replicate hardware add-ons for the PC with SOFTWARE that makes use of the CPU power. Unfortunately, the horsepower requirements seem to be increasing as fast (or faster) than Intel can increase their CPU performance. Paul
