I watched an interview earlier on TV, and it struck me that it isn't like these people are actually suffering like so many other Americans. They have excellent hc benefits, great retirements and good jobs. So what exactly is it they want? They want the very best of what our country has to offer but want nothing to do with the cost. Sure, sure.............they work hard 180 days a year.......and tell us it's "for the children", but there is something unfair about it all and something is missing. I haven't heard one confess that they would be willing to share the burden of recovery. Not one has confessed they're sympathetic to the plight of their neighbors. Not one who is willing to give something up in order to ensure our economic survival. I can't recall a period in my life where I've seen such blatant selfishness on display.
