Yes I do and I know Android has private APIs. You can root Android and it can be forked but that is not Google's ambition. I prefer a world where Apple, Rimm, HP, Windows, even Android share enough success to drive one another and offer consumers different models to chose from. Sorry but my take is that Google more than most will sell its sole to drive a platform monopoly. You may remember there was a time where Google was opposed to Flash as a proprietary de facto net standard. They tossed conviction for competing advantage. They'll toss c onviction for many things. Actually in my book their only conviction is to sell more ads. Having used Apple products for nearly 30 years my take is that they do have some core convictions besides just profits. Don't care to argue, that's my view and experience.
