All enterprises have a pie of gross profits to distribute. Non-union corps give the lions share to executives, board members and shareholders. Union corps are forced ( by collective bargaining ) to share more with their workers, in wages and benefits. In the end, the union shops are BETTER for us all, even the non-union corps, as they contribute to a strong middle class.
