So far it has worked for me :)

I have learned to imitate the ways of successful men.

I find this means to cut corners where a corner lies, denigrate all who are sincere but weak, mow down all in my way, major in hypocrisy and deceit, cheat all who can be cheated, sow dissension and misinformation among all who will believe, as all are competitors and therefore enemies, be a sycophant and express political opinion that seems required.
