Hi Bob,

It's true, COHU has not been in favor looking at the chart since about the 1st of the year. This can be seen not only on the charts you noted, but also on the 13 week rolling quarter data posted this week. During the 1st 6 weeks of the table, the trend was all up, then a "peak" for the next 2 weeks, then 4 weeks of a downtrend ending with a small gain last week.

Your analysis could very well be right. I certainly don't see any fundamental reason why your outlook might come to pass. COHU had very good revenue in 2010 and the earnings recovered from the negative values in 08 and 09, earning 1.02 per share for 2010 with higher values forecast for 11 and 12.

The table shows the target prices for the next 12 months for the Group stocks. With the exception of FSII, COHU's closing price on Friday has the lowest percentage value in the table with respect to its 12 month target. Many of the stocks closed above their 12 month values on Friday. Also, note that COHU has only 2 analysts following the stock. This means the consensus may be not as reliable as those larger cap stocks with larger analyst followings.
