Subject: QuoteTracker

The Atlanta area rep for TD Ameritrade called me and asked how things were going. I mentioned the lack of support for QT, and that I knew Ameritrade was pushing Think or Swim. After a conversation with him, he finally conceded that if they get enough complaints, they would continue to support QT.

To me, Think or Swim is mostly for options traders, so I can't use it, or at least I prefer not to use it. I explained to him that I traded microcap/smallcap stocks, and there were many of us with TD Ameritrade accounts that use QT.

Anyway, I am just putting this out here for the rest of us who feel a little uneasy about the direction TDA is going. I don't think they are doing enough for us traders at this end of the trading spectrum.

Now, I like TDA, and no intention of leaving them. I would just like to have the same consideration given to us that they are giving the opions traders.
