Well I liked hearing that story - good that people saw a stranded family with a camper and pulled over to help. I remember years ago my dad's camper had a flat and we had to leave it there while we went in town to get it fixed - I am glad I was so young. I can't even leave my car unlocked in my driveway let alone know our camper is unprotected in the middle of no where.

I think those living in larger cities tend to become a-holes when having to deal with so many people and commuting etc. In any small town, people are more than happy to bend over to help. Sort of like "The Firm" (though she applied it to living in the "South") "We encumber you with hospitality".
