Thanks. The sales person said there are "issues" with the i7, thus no more i7's. Issues could mean a lot of things, to me, it means bugs.

Tech support said no known issues, supervisor said supply problem.

Who to believe after reading that link? I will bet on the sales person. Will be calling Dell on Tuesday, if it get the feeling that it's defective it's going back.

One thing about Toshiba's business line, there is a 3 year warranty on all machines. No need to buy warranty.

This dirt cheap Toshiba I am using, a Satellite C650 T4500 processor, is a great machine. I can not believe all you can do with it, having no dedicated video card, the salesperson said it would have problems running PhotoShop CS5, but I have no problems running PhotoShop and I can even edit HD video on this machine with Vegas. All for 499 dollars.
