I want to see a link to the original document showing the context of this statement. Too often you wingnuts distort the truth by outright lying or quoting out of context.

Motl is not a climate scientist, but a Physicist studying string theory. He's a climate skeptic and is clearly biased with his political ideology on the topic. That statement is an overly simplistic analysis of the problem and obviously has some problems.
