…though I'd want to have some metals as part of my "cash". Yepper! Started acquiring St Gauds in the early 1980s. And investment grade coinage, amongst other stuff. Truly amazing. I thought the early 80's would just be a bad memory with regard to inflation. Guess I had blind confidence in our monetary experts running the show, after the Carter years. Back then my company had a mortgage on a lake house with a 19% loan (courtesy of Jimmah, of course). Collectibles of all sorts; gold (all metals), art, jewelry, coins etc. was in vogue. All I can say is, "here we go again"!
